Oatmeal cake with orange

Ingredients (approx. 20 pieces)

250 grams of ghee
120 grams of brown sugar
175 grams of chestnut honey
420 grams of oatmeal
100 grams of chopped hazelnuts
Finely grated zest of 1 orange or candied orange
3 tablespoons of orange marmalade

Preparation

Heat the oven to 180° and coat the mold with ghee.

Melt the butter, sugar and honey over medium heat, stirring constantly. Then remove the mixture from the heat and mix in the oatmeal, hazelnuts and orange peel. You now have a soft mixture that you pour into the mold.

Bake the cake for 30 minutes, the edges should be golden, and the center should remain soft. When the cake has cooled, spread it with orange jam, which you previously mixed with a spoonful of water and heated to the consistency of syrup. Cut the cake into strips and, in an airtight container, you can snack on it for up to a week. It is extremely tasty and sweet, so be moderate!
